Department of Parks & Recreation, Prince George’s County Announces Holiday Schedule for Veterans Day

M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County Announces Holiday Schedule for Veterans Day 2020 

Riverdale, MD – Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Department of Parks and Recreation in Prince George’s County announces its holiday schedule for Veterans Day. The administrative offices will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.

Facilities that are open to the public include:

  • Herbert Wells Ice Rink
  • Indoor Pools: Rollingcrest-Chillum, Theresa Banks, Allentown, Fairland, Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex
  • Playgrounds, parks, and trails
  • Golf courses and the Prince George’s Trap & Skeet Center 
  • Outdoor tennis courts and bubbles 
  • Fitness Center at Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex
  • Watkins and Patuxent River Campgrounds (Friday-Sunday only)
  • Select permitted athletic fields 
  • Old Maryland farm
  • Boating (Owners, no rentals)
