We are inviting performers of traditional, culture-specific dance styles, ages 16 years and older to audition for the 16th Annual World Dance Showcase. Modeled on the San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival, the World Dance Showcase is a unique opportunity for performers of cultural dance styles to enhance their presentations and reach a wider audience in a professional theater setting.

We will select six groups to perform in concert on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 8 pm, with each group receiving an honorarium of $600. Those selected will have a custom lighting design created for them using state-of-the-art computerized lighting displays available at the Publick Playhouse. A professional high-definition video recording of each dance is made available to the selected dance companies after the March performance.
