Caleb Smith: Youngest Glider Pilot in the Nation

A native of Prince George's County, Caleb Smith became the youngest certified glider pilot in the Nation in November 2021. His achievement was commenced when Prince George's County Executive Angela Alsobrooks declared February 28 as "Aviator Caleb Smith Day."
Watch Caleb fly into the College Park Airport and listen to him speak about his journey to becoming the youngest glider pilot in the nation on November 2021, and how his success inspires the next generation of pilots!
After the talk, head to the College Park Aviation Museum for a Black Aviators Tour.
