Join Dr. Julie Rose for an illustrated presentation on the depiction of slave dwellings in Hollywood film during the 20th century. Dr. Rose will examine the depictions of slave quarters to consider how recollections of slave life were reflected in the media and how movies can influence audience's perceptions of American slavery.
