Soccer

The Department of Parks and Recreation offers many opportunities to learn and play the game of soccer. Introduce your child to the game, play the game in one of our recreational leagues or attend a fun-filled Summer Day Camp. 

League Play

This program is being facilitated by Prince George’s County Boys & Girls Club with the support of the Department of Parks & Recreation. Games are played in both a Spring & Fall League. Youth sports clubs are located all throughout the county.

Pee-Wee Soccer Spring League: Games are played Sundays, May 2nd – July 11th. Kids will have fun and learn soccer skills in this fun, recreational league for 3-4 year-olds. Team registration closes April 24. Register through pgparksdirect.com (activity code YCSD-SOC-YTH-02) or contact countywidesports@pgparks.com.

Spring League: Games are played between April 15 and June 10. Leagues are set-up for even number age groups (i.e. 6u, 8u, 10u, 12u & 14u). League age is based on your child’s age as of January 1 of the current year.

Fall League: Games are played between Labor Day and Halloween. Leagues are set-up for even number age groups (i.e. 6u, 8u, 10u, 12u & 14u). League age is based on your child’s age as of July 31 of the current year. Prices vary from team to team. To get league details or find a team near you, go to www.pgcbgc.com.
