Riversdale House Museum Announces Twelfth Night Virtual Ball

Riverdale, MD - The Riversdale House Museum is continuing its Twelfth Night Ball tradition in a modified format, offering viewers the chance to bring this treasured event into their living rooms! On Saturday, January 16, 6:30 pm, participants are encouraged to don their festive attire for an evening of dancing, with instruction and period music. The origins of Twelfth Night traditions, a peek through the candlelit home, and a look at popular foods - are just some of the other highlights of this festive eve.

Advance registration is required by January 13. The cost is $16 per household for residents of Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties and $20 for non-resident households. Registration includes a link to attend virtual Twelfth Night for your household as well as being placed on a waitlist (2 people, added in order of registration) for an in-person, Twelfth Night return in the future. Participants must have a laptop or desktop with the capability to use Microsoft Teams with a video camera and microphone to engage. An email with a link and detailed instructions will be sent closer to the event.

Registration may be completed at www.pgparksdirect.com or directly here. For more information, visit history.pgparks.com.
