A Visit with Miss Harriet

Saturday, February 9, 2019

Arrive early; limited seating.

Sit a spell with the elderly Harriet Tubman as she reminisces over the events that formed her life of service to enslaved people as well as the U.S. Army before, during, and after the American Civil War. This is a first-person presentation by Ms. Cleo Coleman, of Port Royal, Virginia, who will portray the famous abolitionist and conductor on the Underground Railroad in the last years
of her life. Her reminiscences will bring even more understanding of and appreciation
for the sacrifices made by this remarkable woman.

Ages: All ages are welcome
