Dorothy F. Bailey was appointed to the Prince George's County Planning Board in June, 2011 and serves as Vice Chair of the Board.

Ms. Bailey is active in numerous local, regional and national organizations, was recognized by Washingtonian Magazine as one of the area's "Most Powerful Women" and, in 2014, was inducted into the Maryland Women's Hall of Fame.
Background & Experience
In December 1994, Ms. Bailey was elected to represent the Seventh Councilmanic District of Prince George's County on the Prince George's County Council. Ms. Bailey served two terms as Chair, and three terms as Vice Chair of the Council, where she presided over matters related to land use planning and participated in key decisions affecting development policy.
