Young participants will enjoy a series of movement-based games and then use their voices, bodies, and imaginations to create an exciting animal-fill environment or to explore a fairy-tale world. Recommended for ages 3-7.

Improv Games

Learn the basic theatrical improvisation and then create humorous or dramatic improvised scenes through a series of engaging theatre games. This class is great for getting to know each other and team-building. Recommended for all ages.

Decoding Shakespeare

Play fun interactive theatre games based on Shakespeare’s texts, learn tricks that demystify Shakespeare’s language, and use our decoding and acting skills to perform monologues or sonnets together. Note: This workshop can be adapted to cover specific Shakespeare plays. Recommended for ages 12 and up.

Clown, Mask, & Mime-Physical Humor

Learn about clowns, mimes, and masked performers throughout theatre history and then have fun experimenting with basic techniques of these art forms. Participants will also create their own masks to use in class and take home for future performances. Recommended for ages 5 to 12.
